I'm never busy.
OK, that's hyperbole. Sometimes I'm busy for short periods. Once in a while I have something to do on both Friday AND Saturday. But that's pretty rare. Most of the time, I'm not very busy. I mean, I fill the time. I read, write, watch TV, play video games. I have a few weekly or monthly things, like my men's group, church on Sunday, visiting guys in prison. And I'm always trying to find more things, so I'll organize an impromptu drawing class with a few friends or try to have a game night. But most of the time, MOST of the time, I'm not busy.
So I don't understand what other people are always busy with. Some people, sure. If you're married and have kids, that obviously sucks up a lot of time. But what else do you people do? My only guess is that you're all spending time with each other.
Maybe that's it. I mean, I'm not really a party person - if you invite me to something with lots of people I don't know, there's a good chance I'll turn you down. Not that there are tons of invites I'm turning down, anyway. Plus, most people are in relationships, so they've got that built in person to hang with. And that's where a lot of time goes. That makes sense.
Me? Shitloads of time on my hands. I'd like to fill it spending time with people, but ... I guess that's not going to happen. Everyone is too busy.
